melo scores rebounds plays D(averaged 1.3 spg) and has ok passing ability with 3 apg
in no way is durrant better then melo and roy can make a case but i dont see it
durrant did not lead the NBA in scoring before kobe and melo got hurt

Okay see defensive stats tend to be the most overrated of all, just cause a player averages nearly 2 steals a game means nothing, Iverson was never a defensive player, but cause of his quick hands he always averaged high steals, defensive specialists like Battier and Bowen played aggressive man to man, they were proven. Look at Dwight right now, yea he gets his blocks and even won DPY, but he is overrated, he cant guard the post, cant read screens, cant defend out in the perimeter, its his height just so he can swat shots. Melo being a passer......come one now, 3 assists, he plays with so many forwards and centers, all he has to do is throw it under the basket and he should average at least 5 assists. Durant is a better rebounder, Durant plays like a guard offensively, and Durant tries to play defense and is still learning. Roy is much more polished and can lead a team, better passer and a great one on one defensive guard. Melo has just offense, and actually in big games I never really see him stand out. Trust me Melo is overrated in many categories.
